Diogo Jota is smashing EA Sports FC 24, has played the game for a crazy amount of time

Liverpool star Diogo Jota is already making the new EA Sports FC 24 video game look easy as his match earnings have been revealed.

EA FC 24 is set to become available to the public at the end of the month and will be EA Sports’s first football video game not to have the FIFA branding in 30 years.

Ahead of the launch, it has already been spotted that Jota has already been playing the new game on a regular basis.

On social media, Jota’s match earnings have already been doing the rounds.

In a screenshot being shared online, Jota’s gamer tag ‘DiogoJota18’ already has more than 19,000 match earnings, which according to many, means he has played more than 20 games already.

Over the last few years, it has been well documented that Jota is a keen gamer and he even brought his love of gaming onto the pitch.

During the 22/23 season, after scoring the dramatic late winner for Liverpool in their 4-3 win against Tottenham Hotspur at Anfield, Jota celebrated by sitting on the floor and pretending to be playing a video game.

In a previous interview, Jota spoke about his love for gaming.

Speaking to FourFourTwo, Jota said: “I have an esports team and sometimes I do better than my own players – not because they’re bad, but because I can actually compete with them!

“That feels really nice – when you can compete with people who only do that for a living.

“I often get involved in competitions with the professional FIFA players, which happen once or twice a month, and I do win some games.”

He added: “I played Trent Alexander-Arnold in the final in the Premier League Invitational during lockdown. I was representing Wolves back then and he was representing Liverpool, and I beat him.

“He doesn’t play that often nowadays, so I don’t think there’s a guy who could beat me!”
