Fans feel Real Madrid superstar Vinicius Jr was disrespected during the NBA Finals

Fans felt Real Madrid star Vinicius Jr was disrespected during his appearance at the NBA Finals.

As the 22/23 season is now wrapped up for most teams, players are now starting to enjoy some well-deserved downtime.

On Friday night, Brazilian duo Neymar Jr and Vinicius were seen courtside at the NBA Finals.

However, fans think the Madrid star was disrespected after they showed Neymar’s name on the big screen but seemed to ignore Vinicius. You can watch the footage below.

A third fan added: “What about Vini?”

Someone else wrote: “Wow the disrespect towards Vinicius is reallll out here.”

Whilst a fifth commented: “The Americans don’t know him trust me.”

Vinicius has had a disappointing season with Los Blancos, although they tasted glory with a domestic cup victory, they fell short in the race for the La Liga title and were humbled by Manchester City in the Champions League.

However, both Neymar and Vinicius would have left the court dissatisfied as they were cheering on the Miami Heat, who lost 95-108 to the Denver Nuggets. The Nuggets now have a 3-1 lead in the series.

Neymar and Vinicius are the latest big football names to be associated with Miami after it was announced that seven-time Ballon d’Or winner Lionel Messi has signed for MLS club Inter Miami.

On his move to the United States, Messi said: “I will not return to Barcelona, I will join Inter Miami.

“After winning the World Cup and not being able to go to Barca, it was time to go to the United States to live football in a different way and enjoy more day to day. Obviously with the same responsibility and desire to want to win and to always do things well. But more calmly.”
